Yoga & SUP at Stout CreekWhether you want to try something new, love being on the water or are just looking for a fun way to get some active relaxation into your day... this is it! Our Stand Up Paddleboards (SUPs) are inflatable, so they are soft and friendly, yet rigid enough to support 250+ lbs. Our boards are stable enough that beginners will feel comfortable while allowing experienced paddlers to really play hard! This SUP yoga session combines just the right balance of movement and tranquility, along with lots of fun! No matter what your fitness or ability level, your body and mind will thank you!
SUP YOGA IN THE WINTER?! OF COURSE! We bring the boards into the studio and use supports to raise them a few inches off the floor. This is great training for surfing, snowboarding, balance or recovering from knee injuries. The class is Level 1 with lots of opportunity to play! Don't forget about sno-ga!! We'll do a practice in the studio, then, thanks to Rare Earth Adventures, head to Mt. Hood for a snowshoe trip. Transportation, snowshoes, snack, beverages and fire dancing (yup!) all included!!! On water classes include review of safety procedures, instruction on self rescue and paddle strokes before we hitting the water on SUP boards! There will be plenty of stretching/yoga/fitness, fun and play! You're sure to return to shore, refreshed and energized. |
Yoga at CrossFit
Classes take place at CrossFit Mt. Hood, and CrossFit Stump Town all in and around Portland, Oregon. These classes are perfect for improving the CrossFit athletes' game or for anyone who wants to treat their body well. Classes focus on mostly restorative poses with some gentle movement, connecting breath and stretching muscles to help improve flexibility, recovery time and assist in proper alignment. Myofascial release and some feel good adjustments as needed throughout the practice and during Savasana! You will leave these classes feeling light and relaxed.

The possibilities are endless! Customizable multi-day hiking, backpacking, SUP, rafting, kayaking, river safety and fishing trips for instruction, fun or a retreat (with or without yoga twice a day, always with locally supported nutritious food) are always a treat!
